Cars 2 Review
It looks like that gang is all back for another round of fun, hilarity, and a little game of tipping. Give it up for Cars 2. A movie that is more then meets the eye. The movie's story line doesn't really surround Lightning McQueen or even racing for that matter. It surrounds Matter the tow truck voiced by Larry The Cable guy. Let me Explain.
After messing up with McQueen's chances at winning a race McQueen has had enough of Mater's goofy actions. Feeling bad for messing the race up Mater leaves for home but gets into this whole web of spies. The main spy is Fin McMissile and his Partner Holley Shiftwell. The two spies along with mater, which by the way we all know he isn't a secret agent of anything McMissile and Shiftwell mistakes Mater for a secret agent. So They go and try to stop this evil plan by a lemon car by the name of Sir Miles Axlerod. Who is also the creator of a new fuel that is better for the environment and a grand prix of races. Well he wants to destroy these cars to make people believe that something is wrong with the new fuel so all the cars will go back to normal, regular gasoline.
So, after a lot of chasing, funny scenes and mater not even sure what is truly going on, he takes it upon himself to save McQueen from Axlerod.
If your expecting a movie surrounding Lightning McQueen and lots of racing you will be sorely disappointed. Most of the movie isn't really focused on him but on Mater saving McQueen, taking down a very angry and hurt lemon car. But, if you just want to be entertained with hilarity and some adult thoughts, yes even though its a cartoon there are several parts that a kid may not get that an adult would automatically understand. Then this movie is for you.
The scenes are crafted so perfectly. From the buildings to the sky to the grass, it all looks wonderful and very life like. The voice acting is done quite well and there is a lot of funny parts in it. I believe the reason why the movie isn't getting a higher rating on the film is because McQueen isn't the main
character and there isn't much in the way of racing. The Movie is focused on Mater this time and that isn't a bad thing at all. Id give it 3 Maters out of 4.

My Top Ten All Time Favorite Movie Protagonists. Part 1
We all have our favorite good guy or bad guy. Maybe, your favorite isn't in either one of those categories he/she could be a neutral character. But, no matter what we love those characters. Here is part 1 of 2 in no particular order are my favorite movie protagonist of all time.
10-6
#10: Yoda (star wars)
Yoda, a Jedi Master in the world of Star wars is a master at sword play. He is wise and knows what needs to be done to get the job done. In the original series he helps Luke get a grasp of the force that surrounds all live beings good or bad. He makes Luke think and harness what he needs to learn to help defeat Darth Vador.
In the new trilogy Yoda shows off his skills in using the Lightsaber. He is nimble and very quick on his feet (when he actually is on his feet) He jumps around quit a bit during his battles.
9.) James Bond
Whether it was the original James Bond Sean Connery or the latest Daniel Craig, James Bond has not stopped being entertaining. Even at its lowest back in the late 70's early 80's James Bond never failed at his missions. Whether it was taking down a drug kingpin or a man that just wanted to take over the world. The flamboyant ladies man, Mr. Shaken Not Stirred James Bond has yet to find his end and as long as there is some criminal out there we will always see the cool 007 cars and Gadgets by the Q department at MI6. M. always on his back because he can be sometime too laxed or seeing Bond hitting on the always friendly and beautiful Money Penny there will always be Bond, James Bond.
#8.) Autobots (Transformers Franchise)
Either on Cybertron, Earth, or any other planet the Autobots led by Optimus Prime will always defend what is good and anything that is good to stand for. A war that has been raging on for thousands of years against the Decepticons their war comes to earth. And along side humans the Autobots stage their new Headquarters on earth and fight along side with the human against Megatron and the Decepticons. The Autobots with spike and their new found friends will stop at nothing to stop the likes of the Decepticons and through hunger for total domination of the planet and the universe.
#7.) Capt. John H. Miller (Saving Private Ryan)
After going through probably the hardest day in his life and hundreds of others on the event of D-day Capt. John H Miller is thrusted into a mission that he doesn't want to go through. Doesn't even care but, if it means that he can go home and see his wife and family he will go and save Private Ryan. A role that does a job well done in showing a glimpse of what a soldier goes through especially emotionally this roller coaster of a character takes you through all of them. If its laughing it up with his fellow soldiers or crying and hoping to see his wife and kids in the middle of the dark in an unknown destroyed building in the middle of a destroyed city. This character you will truly truly feel for him.
#6.) Oskar Schindler (Schindler's List)
Schindler's list, a true story about Oskar Schindler, a business man thrusted into the depths of hell in Nazi Germany while living in a now german occupied Poland. After witnessing gruesome murders of Jews by the S.S. He shields and protects the men and women that he employed for his manufacturing business. Even when they may have not been no good to anyone he knew that every life was precious and made it his own mission to save as many as he can from murder and torture by the third reich, the ss, and Hitler himself.
